Chasing a Coin: Signs, Traces and Stories

This publication accompanies an exhibition curated by Başak Şenova, running from February 14, 2018 to April 27, 2018, inspired by 55,000 coins from the Yapı Kredi Coin Collection. “In Pursuit of a Coin: Signs, Traces, and Stories,” comprised of three contemporary art projects by Hera Büyüktaşçıyan, Ali Taptık, and Marco Di Giovanni, includes essays by Hera Büyüktaşçıyan (“From Hand to Hand, to Beyond”), Ali Taptık (“Topography of Apophony”), and Marco Di Giovanni (“Never-Ending Stories from a Collection”).
