On Connections - Kae Tempest

On Connections is a celebration of creativity and the togetherness it inspires. Drawing on her own artistic experience, Tempest reflects on the ways creativity can deepen our relationships with ourselves and others.

Tempest proposes a commonality we can achieve through creativity, especially in response to the disconnection and fragmentation we've felt so acutely during the pandemic. Creativity, beyond mere artistry, is a sense of curiosity and an impulse that drives us. This manifesto, whose main thesis is that our need for connection and togetherness can be met through creativity, blends a mystical and mythical perspective with an anti-capitalist context.
